After a slow middle part of my day in Istra I recovered and walked strong for the last four hours in the rain! I have now closed out the day in Nakhabino with 48 kilometres/ 30 miles.
I stopped at a petrol station and asked to camp on the grass around the back. Said, the owner who is originally from Georgia gave me a couch to sleep on and a shower in his workshop. It's now 32km to Moscow. Last week I said I don't like to get out of bed for less than a marathon.... Well tomorrow is a 20 mile sale, dressing gown and bedroom slippers towards the Kremlin where I have booked a room.
