May 29th, 2016

Yesterday, I enjoyed my chat and cup of tea with Robert Meade (shirt and tie) who is the Deputy Head of Mission in the Irish Embassy in Moscow. Also present were members of the staff and Lorcan Byrne, the Vice Counsul. Lorcan has been acting almost as a personal assistant to me these last few days!

I am still recovering from a truly great night in Katie O Sheas Irish bar! Special thanks to Lorcan Byrne and also Avril Conroy for organising :)

Thanks also to the members of the Irish community for the very kind donations towards keeping my world walk for cancer awareness on the road :) Also present were a few of their Russian lady friends! Including my new princess Xeniya, for we had a great 'mind connection' She says she is not ready to walk across Russia and Mongolia with me, yet! :( However, I live in hope =D the walk goes on tomorrow and I am being told that I am going to be 'run out of the city' well at least walked :)

Thanks everyone for a super night, by far the most memorable of my walk! Please keep in touch

Thanks so much to Olga-Ole, Sacha and the staff and guests at the Kremlin Lights for making me so happy during my four night stay in Moscow! I had such a fantastic time chatting with anyone that wanted to have a yap! I am going to be sad leaving on Sunday, I have met so many more rock solid people, I have a very strong belief in humanity and the human spirit :)

So we set out from Moscow this morning having a laugh and enjoying the glorious weather!

Thanks to Avril Conroy for great help including her effective sponsorship which paid for my next years travel insurance! She also bought me a belt on the way out of town as my pants started falling down! And also a huge thanks to all of my new friends in the Irish and Russian communities.

I was also assured by a couple of lovely belles that they would follow me, I thought they meant out of the city and across Siberia :) No! They said but on Facebook :( " We are not dressed for Mongolia!" :)
Ah! Well that's lovely, thanks for your support and for now the dream goes on, even if sometime I have to hit the snooze button :)

I am now on my own on the western outskirts of Moscow, walking on the M7! What an adventure, hope you can join me, on my website, Facebook or on the road! Anyone is welcome, anytime, anywhere in the world! See ya, gotta walk on :)
