Am on the outskirts of Kazar, capital of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan. My friend Sergey Rodygin and two runners Ildus and Ildar have arrived. Sergey is driving his car in the shoulder of the dual carriageway behind us as we walk in the shoulder. The media have arrived and I have just done a long interview.
Further on up the road the television news crew came out with the very hot Zilya Garipova warming up the day
