My world walk blog - Thailand - 8
One I walked a leisurely
30km to finish in Pak Chong and am staying at the At Home backpackers
hostel. The previous day I walked 32 kilometres. As you can see my
global run was more intense
Thanks again to Ryan Chittasutthiyan who came out all the way from Bangkok to offer assistance. He actually went to my website and copied some basic info and maps off and then translated it all and then laminated these printouts so as I can show to people I meet.. How amazing is that?
So many people keep stopping to offer me water and a friendly chat!
I
know some of you might be interested in my blog from when I ran through
Thailand on my world run almost five years ago. I put the link in the
previous post. Back then, I was running big distance days and sometimes
running clubs came out and joined in. Even the Bangkok chief of police
who was a runner took the day off work to run with me. This time I'm on a
different route. Back then I also didn't do Facebook as much and lost
contact with all of these people.. Shame on me! Thanks again to Ryan Chittasutthiyan who came out all the way from Bangkok to offer assistance.
